The “Made in Russia” Mark: How SMEs Can Confirm Product Quality and Save on Certification

The “Made in Russia” mark increases trust in a brand and helps enter new markets (including foreign ones). It is valued both by large buyers and by export platforms: for them it is a sign that the manufacturer complies with safety standards.

The right to use the mark itself is granted free of charge, and an application can be submitted on the “My Export” platform. At the same time, the platform requires documents confirming the quality and safety of the product: valid certificates or declarations.

If you do not have them yet, do not put the task off. Manufacturing SMEs can use a state support mechanism that covers up to 50% of the costs of testing and paperwork.

For help, you can turn to the Engineering Center of the ANO “Innovation Agency”. The specialists will select a testing laboratory suited to your specific needs, help assemble the package of documents and take over communication with the experts. The Center cooperates with certification bodies and testing laboratories across the country, so a solution can be found even for complex and non-standard products.

The Engineering Center will finance half of the cost of the service and oversee the document flow. Once the products successfully pass the tests, you will have all the data needed to apply for the use of the Made in Russia marking.

Preferential payment terms for services are available to SMEs in manufacturing and agriculture in the Tyumen Region thanks to the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”.
